to add on to this morning's entry. Indeed today is an exciting day. we Had a FIRE DRILL. I TELL YOU. indeed culture "shock" hahahahaha no la more like hilarious.
In Singapore schools fire drills are so called "warned" haha so NOT exciting at all. hmm so I was eating in cafe cadenza. heh then the fire alarm went offf "eeeyoooreee eeeeyoooore" ok wadeva. (eeyore!) then ppl just stood up to walk out from the fire exit. some took their trays of food out to eat while the fire drill was being conducted. indeed ice cream while fire drilling is quite thrilling. hahahaa SO normally everyone is supposed to "rush down" in like ten minutes? twenty minutes? here, ppl stroll, no rushing but eh? everyone is still there in ten minutes. there was this guy who came down in a towel wrapped on his waist. hahaha bathing halfway indeed. OH the singaporeans were exclaiming at how "no attendance is taken" America! I love you. hahahahaha its just so free and self motivated here. hmm In Singapore if there was a fire drill, if the principal/teachers didnt stress the importance or like rush ppl down I think the student will just heck and do their work. but well ppl here take it quite seriously.
